Zoe had her first close encounter with a bunny last night. I took both dogs out at 10 before bed. I noticed a tiny baby bunny in the grass and walked the dogs away so they would not notice. Zoe being Zoe was running around and ended up straddling the tiny bunny and didn’t realize it. There Zoe was with this little bundle of gray fluff about the size of my fist sitting directly under her belly and she was oblivious to it.

The bunny ran out from in between her front legs. Zoe jumped and ran to me pawing my legs panicked…like what the heck was that, pick me up quick. It was so funny. If Cali had seen it she would have darted after it and tracked it were it ran but she was distracted looking at something else in the yard.

By the way…I would like to know why it is that dogs are attracted to and eat bunny poop like it was candy. It is gross, I have put Tabasco sauce on it, sprayed it with Lysol, sprayed it with bitter spray but they still seem to find it somewhere else in the yard. Definitely not getting a goodnight kiss from them after they snack on that!
